tool bar hides roll over messages

roll over messages are behind the tool bar. anyone know how to fix this or send tool bar behind.

Can you explain your problem further? What messages are you talking about and what do you mean by tool bar?

I should have said task bar at bottom of screen, sorry. When I roll over icons on task bar ie internet windows minimised, time, Internet connection icon etc. the bubble with type in it is actually behind the task bar and only part of the information can be read.
Having said this, when I started up computer just now the bubbles with type are infront of task bar and can be read.
Im interested if anyone has had similar problems.

Next time you have that problem see if refreshing the Desktop view (F5) cures it.

As "wooglin" says I have seen a similar problem where part of a popup menu from an icon seems to peep over the taskbar with the rest behind it and out of view. (I suppose it could have been part of the icon or window description peeping over, hard to really say as I could only ever see the edge of it).

In either case the problem went away after a short while on its own.

If yours is a persistent and annoying problem you could run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.
