A "Page too Wide" message pops up when printing certain reports for what appears to be no valid reason.

1. Page is 8.5 x 11 with .5 inch margins.
2. Report is 7 inches wide.

That leaves at least a half inch in the target area but the message still pops up and some times it will print two pages (second one blank) for some reason.

Anyone know a fix?

So, if you open the report properties and look at the width property, it is .5"?
Are your report margins reverting to 1" without your help? This is a known bug in Access 2000 reports.

Duane,

I am not sure what you mean. If I open the form and them properties and look at width it is 6 inches wide. In the print preview view the printer set margins are .5".

That should leave .1".

Example. page 8.5 x 11. Margins .5. Print area 6.9. My math says that .5 + 6 + .5 = 7. 7 is less than 8.5 - .5 - .5 or 7.5.

The math works but the print does not.

Check your default paper size to make sure it is 8.5x11. Are you printing a form or is that a typo in your previous message? Do you have your columns set to more than one?

Duane,

It was a typo, should have been report. Page it portrait 8.5X 11 with 1 column.

You may need to re-build the report.
