Hi,

I have a couple of files which are too long and I am :
- unable to delete them; actually they don't seem to be reconized as files anymore...
- chkdsk has been performed several times: doesn't fix the problem
- antivirus scan cannot finish work: maybe because of these files ?

Do you have any solution to:
- delete them !
- scan harddisk for any (too long named) file so I can change the name

Thanks,
S.

Well now , what you have there , my friend , is a virus.I've also had it on my computer , and even formatting it couldn't solve the situation. You could try 2 things :
1.Try using a different Antivirus program.Bitdefender is a very good program that might just solve your problem. Here is the link : 2.Backup all your files on a few CD-s , and then try formatting your PC.If you get errors in the formatting process, try using Partition Magic. This will help you solve your problem.
Good luck ! [afro]
