Toner Cartridge support?

Hello,

I have a Laserjet 5N and am trying to save a few bucks. The toner cartridge support on the laser jet broke off and I'm currently trying to find out if its an easy fix if I spend the $10 to buy it.
I've Googling for the solution but so far have not come up with any instructions on how to replace that part (I do have the manual, but it doesn't imply how to replace it).

Your manual should show you how to remove the Paper Input Unit, and the left side guide can be removed then. If it is the right side guide, remove the formatter, and the PIU.
You press in a tab, and slide the guide up and out.
