If I have 3 G650's with 2 s8710 servers... carriers A and B both have IPSI boards. Do these work in tandem where 1 is in control while the other is a backup or do they control their own stuff and work independently?

apologies.. the subject says tone clock boards.. i meant IPSI boards..

If you have one in A and one in B, you have ipsi duplication. In the server use the command list ipsi and you will see that one is active and the other is in standby. If you have any other questions about the information you find on that page, just ask.

you can also us the command disp ips 1 and you'll see both of your ipsi addresses if they are statically addressed.
