Tomcat - Installing WAR file

Hello Everybody,

I am asking this question at the wrong place but I hhope u guys can help me.

I am trying to install a WAR file and view the application using

http://localhost:8080

I have tried a few times but I do net get see my jsp files or my application.

Can anybody let me know the changes I should be making to the webapps or the webapps/root directory to view my app.

I would appreciate help on this.

Hi teky ,
i guess this answer may be too late... but i just joined the group.

you can deploy the war application on the tomcat webapps directory. All you have to do is copy your war application to your tomcat/webapps directory and restart tomcat.
