Tomcat 4 hangs

I've googled for this one... seems lots of people have this problem but not a lot have answers.

My JSPs will hang intermitently. It's hard to tell if the database driver is causing the problem because it happens while my Access DB queries.

I'm putting a commercial type III DB connector on the server that supports unlimited connections because the standard jdbcdbc Access driver supplied with SDK only supports one connection (so I was told.)

Any thoughts anybody?

While the JDBC driver may allow unlimited connections does your DB?

Are you closing your handles when your done with them? If not eventually someone will run out until a handle times out and releases one to the next query.
