TOMCAT 4.1.27 + IIS 5.1 + FORM POST METHOD

I have searched.. and searched..and searched for information as to WHY the post method is not working with the isapi redirector that connects IIS with Tomcat.. GET Works.. but GET is completely useless for passwords .. I need to POST data into a session that will allow me to secure the informatino.. GET is completely useless and POST is not working at all..

My server and all software is setup perfectly.. JSP's run perfectly as do servlets. GET works as well but POST does not.. does anyone at all have ANY information regarding WHY POST METHOD does not work with IIS Tomcat and the Isapi_redirector..

Have you try by passing IIS and go straight to Tomcat to see if Post work this way?

Yes.. Tomcat byitself processes POST requests..

for example.. I have tomcat running standalone on port 8080 and through IIS port 80 .. on port 8080 POST works.. but on port 80 it does not..

Just checkout the apache site. Seem like there is a bug in Tomcat IIS redirector.

Have you installed all the latest Tomcat, redirector etc..

Thanks.. but i already know this having experienced it heh.. what im looking for is information as to why.. there are no explanations anywhere .. even from apache there are no answers .. and this is a VERY OLD problem..
