Hi, i am using ajp connections for integrating IIS with Tomcat, it was working fine with the 4.0.4 but now the new tomcat has the administrative interface and something is not kosher.
I get the Could not create MBean Connection for the ajp 13 connector. Could anyone recommend something that i should look at in the docs? really appreciated

I dont have any answer but instead have a question:
How did you get Tomcat 4.0.4 work with IIS?.

I can happily see which is HTTP server of Tomcat 4.0.4.
but when I try IIS the site does not come up.

I want to use IIS as the HTTP server and Tomcat as just the servelet container.

Any pointers

pain.... Follow the instructions on the Tomcat part of The one part that I couldn't get working was the isapi_redirect.dll I finally found a post somewhere else on the web along with a modified .dll isapi_redirector.dll I couldn't get the .dll from apache to work, but the other one works fine. Just have to remember to change the .reg entries. I forget the address where I found this .dll but I'll be happy to email it to you. Please email me at james.snyder@pncbank.com I'm reading this at home so I don't have this info with me.

Hi James,
Thanks for the feedback.
I got the Tomcat 4.0.4 isapi_redirector working last night.
The issue is that the Tomcat installs in a long name directory "Apache Tomcat 4.0" using the default installation.
I changed the folder name to something like "Tomcat40", redid the reg/.xml config files and redirection started working.

Thanks for being active on the newsgroups...its helps all of us.

my biggest problem in getting the IIS/Tomcat redirect was the typo in the Tomcat Howto: it calls the file 'worker.properties' when it should be 'workers.properties' (or vice versa, i don't have it in front of me).
AS soon as i fixed that, it worked.
