Being a Definity person, I'm not sure how the Legend handles Toll Tables. We have several new dialing prefixes that are now considered local by SBC, but when they are dialed, it goes out long distance (verified by us needing to enter an account code restricted by our LD company). Example, the area code is 777 and prefix 444 is OK (777-444-1234 = OK). But, new prefix is added (777-333-1234 = get account restrict tone).

FYI - w are using 5 local CO lines in our 60 pool, we do not have ISDN.

On a Definity it's easy to change this via the toll tables. How on a Merlin?

Thanks.

I am with you. I have done this in Definity and it is fairly easy to accomplish. I have worked extensively with Legend, but never with Toll restrict. It is in the Tables menu off of system programming. Depending on how yours is set up, either ARS needs adjusting or Allowed/Disallowed lists. Pointing in the direction is all I can offer.

Are you using 10-digit dialing? You will need a PC to do this programming, as you will need to check your existing toll tables via a print out. I have the steps on a PDF file. Send me your email and I will shoot them off to you.
