Hello all,
I have toll free number that has been in service since 1998, I cannot find out who the provider is. Any ideas?

I tried SBS800 datase but am not a vendor so they would not assist.
Thanks in advance.

1 You should be getting billed from someone on the number.
2 From the title of your email your are going to Resporg the number,, the carrier you are going to change to can find that information.

(800) 337-4194 will identify the RespOrg (or just their carrier code if it is a less-common carrier) and provide a trouble reporting number for the RespOrg. RespOrg may or may not be the actually carrier, but that's some place to start.

Usually, if you call 611 repair service, you get an automated menu that asks you to input the area code and telephone number that you are reporting trouble on. If it is handled by a CLEC, it will refer you to the carrier and give you their trouble number. If you enter 800 and the number in question, it will also tell you the RESPORG and the contact number.

My employer has 254 toll-free numbers and 8000 CO lines (that I know of) spread among our branches. I do not get ANY billing information, especially if is an acquisition.

I will try all methods mentioned as a 'found' toll free number is almost a monthly occurrance. Thank you all for the info.
