TokenMngr.ReleaseToken(tokenid) returns -2147211001

I have written .CSP application to manage my reports. Everything worked fine in development and QA. Now we are in production and having a problem. We have narrowed it down to an error number -2147211001 received on the ReleaseToken() method in the TokenManager Object.

This errorcode does not appear to be documented... or at least I can not find out what it means. The error number certainly is in the same "ballpark" as other errorcodes I have found in the online help... but I can't find this one.

Ideas?

This is CE 8.5 environment.
