Token Ring MTU change = No switch Datacom

Hi everbody:

A client has a Multiview with 8 ports Token Ring, when some problems to connect from Sniffview console, NAI knowledgebase article suggested to reduce MTU size from Transport and Monitor NICs, now they can connect to agent, but switch "disapears", and it can't be set up until MTU size is restored to at least 2000 Bytes, any configuration missing ? maybe switch's "ini" file ?

Hi Alex, I'm not sure of the problem, but it's probably worth contacting Datacom Systems, as they used to manufacture the MultiView units.

They might have a newer Matrix switch Sniffer config file.
