I have a HP 500x print server that is token ring. It has a utp slot to hook up to an ethernet cable. Can I hook this thing up to my 10baseT network hub and have the print server function...or am i screwed?

No, you cannot use token ring device on an ethernet network. That port is just standard utp - does not mean ethernet.
If still want to use the print server, you need something like ethernet/token ring bridge or router.
Another option is to get a MAU (token ring hub) and a token ring card and install the card into a pc along with ethernet card.

Good luck.
