I am working on a project having more than 500 tasks.
Can I display the tasks to be done today.
Sort by start and end date doesn't works where today's date is between start and end date.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try applying the Date Range filter or use Autofilters on the start date and finish date fields.
