Todays Date in Universe

Hey guys, I am back doing BO after a good 4 years and have forgotten alot!!

We have a SQL SERVER 2005 DB.

I would like a number of objects in my universe along the lines of;

Todays Date (Date)
Todays Date (Date & Time)

I have tried using Now() but for some reason this doesn't parse.

Can someone please help me, then call me a muppet!!

I wonder whether you are in the right forum. Are you using Crystal Reports? If not, try forum393. In Crystal, you could use: currentdate or currentdatetime.
