Today and Now functions in history instances

Using Enterprise XI
Reports using the today and now functions appear to be updated with current dates and times when pulling historical instances form history.

Shouldn't they stay the same as the day they were originally executed when pulling form history?

Is there a switch or parameter to keep history from updating. I can send the report results to pdf but wanted to keep the crystal viewer nav functions.

Switch to using datadate.
