Greetings,

Quik fax: Windows XP machine, plenty of RAM and processing using PM 7.01

The problem: I have created 10 publications that for simplicity's sake I will call Chapters 1-10. I have inserted a booklist('Utilities' 'Book') in proper order into each of the 10 publications. When I create a TOC for the 10 publications, I get the 'loaded text' icon and when applying to a clean page, I get wrong character sizes (first really large, then really small, then really, really large, etc.)which do not reflect an accurate TOC as it pertains to the publications.

I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

Hi, grfx303

Into each of the 10?

There's no need. All the book utility does is link in order the 10 publications at printing time and a couple of other purposes. I usually set the Book order from the first chapter.

PM7 is suposed to create a tOC from the booklist (list of total publications for the book). It is spitting out the TOC based on a large heading style (unwanted) and including the spread pages headers as part of the TOC.

I have the book list in the 'Preface' publication and I tell PM7 to make a TOC. It keeps spitting out some weird interpretation of the titles in giant letters.

Is this a scripting problem within PM7?

FYI: All publications (10) include page markers, styles, header info and the main master document.

Hi, grfx303,

Sounds like you need to check your styles and/or global defaults.
