This is a simple question about TOAD that maybe someone here can answer.

I'm running TOAD against an Oracle 8i database and the when using the SQL Editor I would like to see the entire output on the SCRIPT OUTPUT tab. Right now I only see the first 80 characters. I've tried SET LINESIZE 300 but no luck. Any ideas?

Works for me...
Did you execute "as script"? [3eyes]

Check the Output > Environment > System Variables tab.

Yes, I am indeed running it as a script.

I don't seem to have an Output > Environment > System Variables tab. Maybe we're on different versions. I'm on TOAD 7.0.4.3

Maybe it's the version. I have 9.5.0.31

In the Output window below, there are three tabs: Output, Grid 1 and Envoronment. [noevil]

Must be the version, I have no tabs -- other than the output window which is a tab itself.

Oh well, thanks for the help anyway. I guess I'll have to live with the 80 character width.

Did you see anything in "TOAD options" for SQL Editor?
