ambitb, You can find the program associated with vsdpl.dll by going into registry.
Run regedit from START/Run. Before you start Export a copy of the reg in case you later experience problems {REGISTRY -> Export} Then EDIT->Find. vsdpl -> Click Find. When file is found hit the TAB key to toggle to other side of the screen. It is here that, if you backtrack through the Hive (directory structure), you will find the program giving you the problem. If this doesn't provide the required info. then press F3 and try again. You may have to go through the entire registry to be sure of the program.
I don't suggest you make any changes to registry. Only find the program that vsdpl is associated with. Then from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel, remove the program that is giving you problems. If you really need the program then re-install a fresh/current version of the application.
Should you continue having the problem you may choose (*at your own risk*) to mess with registry -HKLM-SOFTWARE-Microsoft-Windows-CurrentVersion-Run -> This is where many programs are 1st loaded as Windows starts up. Make sure to have you emergency boot disk and backup .reg file on disk.
