I have a grouping based on the formula given below

Local stringVar groupdisplayname:="";
If ({FIELD_01}<>8) Then
groupdisplayname:="A Group"
Else
groupdisplayname:="B Group"

I want group A will comes first then group B but my group B is coming first
Any idea how to this ?

You could try adding an extra value in front. Thus if you want oranges to come ahead of apples, you set the values as 1-Oranges, 2-Apples.

On Crystal 8.5, you normally have a choice between 'Ascending' and 'Descending', but not for a Group field Madawc Williams

They should come up in alpha order by default, so A should come before B. Any chance that you set the order to be descending in the group options? You can change from ascending to descending if you need to. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
