When you get the print window you have the option of printing to a screen, printer or file. If I select Screen and then select the envelope to send as email some of our systems do it properly and some do not and I can not find the settings to change the ones that don't.

Can anyone give me a little insite on this issue please.

Thanks
Mark

Are you using citrix? If so make sure that all of your machines have Microsoft Outlook setup.

Yes we are using Citrix and Outlook is set up because they use Outlook all day for email. We do use two Citrix machines for load balancing, could that be an issue?

Thanks
Mark

Maybe this KB article has to do with your problem:

Unable to use the 'Send To' option in Dynamics - Terminal Server. (852585)

Stef315, thanks for your reply of:

Unable to use the 'Send To' option in Dynamics - Terminal Server. (852585)

but how do I and where is this article? A little confused?

Also what is a KB article.

Klewis, yes, when they log into GP they will connect to GP thru either of the two citrix boxes depending on the load at the time.

Thanks
Mark

I understand that your users use email all day, but that does not necessarily mean that outlook is loaded on the Great Plains citrix machines. They could be using a different machine for e-mail. Make sure outlook is installed on the two Great Plains machines and that the e-mail profiles are set up.

Sorry markajem! KB is Knowledge Base...the Microsoft support database.

I was trying to find this article but maybe it was just available through the Microsoft Business Solutions website. Do you have access to Techknowledge? I'm not sure I'm supposed to copy and paste here.

Basically, "Unable to use the 'Send To' option in Dynamics - Terminal Server" is the title of the Techknowledge article if you have access to that. I can email to you. I know that's not sharing but I'm just not sure I'm supposed to post.

I would summarize what it says but I have a feeling I would mess something up and cause more problems. :(

Stef315 thanks for the explanation. No problem if you can't copy and paste. We have so much on the warmer plate right now I don't think this is as much of an issue as we would have thought it to be because we thought it would just be a simple setting change. We are revamping some of the system etc and at this time don't think we want to put our efforts in this direction.

Klewis, thanks for your replies too. As I had said did not think it would be a major issue. Not the time now to be doing this.

Hope I did not waist anyone's time.

Thanks again for your help though.
