To you, oldnewbie, I've been reading old posts from when I first started posting here-back when virt2002 was still posting here - the old posts have more information for Flash 5, and I'm sorry if this isn't the place to put this, but you've helped so so many people over the years, I just want to personally thank you for all the help you've been to me and others. You know us Canadians, we get drinkin' and sentimental...And when I came across this thread: thread250-63999 I was just thinking how long that you've been helping us all out for..man, you're amazing!!

Let's calm down! I don't know everything! As a matter of fact, there's a lot I still have to learn! Server side scripting for one! And XML! Etc...

Like I'd said, I've been doing reading of old, old posts...and it was weird when I came across you for the first time with 'Visitor' beside your name. And to see you asking questions to which I now have the answers to, thanks to you, was quite a paradox shift. Sure there's more you have left to learn, but it's cool that you still remember that there are more of us out there that need to get to your level. And, hey, whatever happend to Dave and virt2002(Carl I think his name was)...any ideas?

that should be paradigm shift...I'll blame it on the Nyquil and Buckleys that have been keeping me barely alive these past couple days |-I

Carl is still around and checks in most every day( if you hit any handle in the full list of posters, you can see when they last logged in!), but doesn't post that much anymore...
Dave, was around in October I think and re-activated his .flas in the FAQ section, that had been down for quite a while, but wasn't heard from since...

I too thank Oldnewbie unconditionally for the support and advice that he's shared through this forum. Oldnewbie is absolutely amazing and a real gem for the likes of myself who is just a novice from NZ. He's inspired me in many ways and I hope that one day I will be able to return the favour. Three cheers for Oldnewbie....

Thanks.
