DO you need software to log onto BCM or just open up the ip address with your internet browse?

Just the IP address and a web browser. You'll need a java runtime engine to run the unified manager as well.

Java is down loadable from the BCM. You can also use the serial port and hyperterm to access the BCM. If using the IP address you need to use a Crossover cable to communacate with the BCM.
