I have DL 385 server with 2x36 GB on RAID 1. I would like to replace it with 2x72GB RAID 1 setup. Could you please let me know steps I need to follow so that Data is not lost .

Thanks

Aggala,

You have to replace the first drive with the 72 GB one, wait until the state of the logical disk is idle again, then you have to replace the second one.
After that second drive is synchronized there will be 36 free Gbytes on your logical drive. Then you can increase the logical size.
Then this space will be available in Windows. There you have to decide if you would like to increase the boot disk size (with 3rd party tools like Acronis) or build up a new partition on the disk

Regards

Lorenz
