dear freind,
i would like to speed up my internet browsing and data downloading....can anyone suggest me what type of software that can i use to increase my internet perfomance..i using pentium11 with 56k modem...

just so you know even if you do get ahold of some software the most likely speed you'll be able to reach is only 6 kps.

Hi,

Its worth chenking in device manager.

Right click on yoe modem / properties / modem.

Check that the maximum speed is set to the highest setting.
