To HTTP or Not to HTTP. When is the question

Hello,

I am getting frustrated and hoping that someone can help.

I am running Windows 2000 with Nortons Personal Firewall, and IE6.

I have an Administrator account and another under my name as a PowerUser.

From my account I need only put in a web address as such -

http://www.Tek-Tips.Com

for instance.

From any other account I have to put in

HTTP://www.tek-tips.com

I have searched high and low through the IE settings and the Firewall settings. Turning off the firewall has no effect.

It has worked OK in the recent past but I have changed something to make it not work.
