Let me preface this post with the fact that I have had no formal computer training, except a 100 level class in college. That being said I am an experienced computer user considered by all that know me (but whom know very little about computers) to be an expert. However, knowing as much as I do I know enough to know that I know nothing, ya know
I currently manage a small NT4 network of 20 or so computers, a network that I set up and maintain (with no problems might I add (knocking on wood). I have also designed, developed and written a COMPLEX access db that my business depends on for everyday use. I have successfully learned, Access, VB, office interoperability, some SQL etc on my own.
Sorry for the bore but I felt it necessary to give you a little background before asking my question.
Now, as someone with an affinity for 'computers' is it as difficult as one might think after hearing all the horror stories to set up and maintain an exchange server? I don’t have the time to devote to learn ALL he ins and outs as I did in the past when learning sql, access, or vb. I know its no easy task (or its it really?) We only have a need for 20-30 email addys, on one domain in the near future which, I assume, will make it easier than an enterprise level set up across domains and what not.
