All over the web you can get instruction how to disable socket-pooling on IIS 5.0.

Ok, I followed the instructions and disabled it, but it isn't disabled, when I run netstat -na I get the same results disabled or not.

My questions are:

1.) What is wrong, my server won't let me disable socket
pooling(it says disable socketpooling true)?

2.) How can I change the port the IIS 5.0 service is listining on?(I don't mean website property-->tcp port, I mean the IIS 5.0 server master properties --> edit default port 80 is greyed out)?

I am running w2k adv server and IIS 5.0 with the latest sevice packs and patches.
