dear expert,

i need to change the fontsize and fontname of a text file using a VB application.i tried readingthe file using FileSystemObject into an rtf control, changing the font and then writing it back into the file. But the file remained unchanged.

i guess i need to change the property of the file instead of the rtf.can you please help me here?if i need to use an API which one?where can i get the information about which windows API to use for what?

thanks
rumman

when you do a savefile, make sure you select filetype as RTF. the default for the rtfeditbox is RTF, but you may have changed it. Attitude is Everything

A text file doesn't have a font or font size - or indeed any other attributes. It just has text.
