While creating a report at design time I had used an SQL Server database. The server name(i.e the database location) was initially given, then the relevant tables were chosen.I wanted to launch this report through ASP code by connecting to a different SQL Server.(i.e the database location has changed). In the logonserver method I gave the new server name, but the database, tables etc remained the same. But it gave an error "20614: Starting background processing failed". Is it possibel to change the server name at run-time? If yes how it has be changed? Thanks.

First step I would do is in the Designer, go to Database...Set Location and get rid of tables' ovner names,
for instance leave Customer instead of DatabaseName.Customer
and try to run the report. Make sure that you don't have saved data with the report.

If it won't help then what connection do you use, ODBC or native?
