Can anyone help me in understanding what is TNT codes and how are they used??

Basically, the carrier has a touch-tone receiver bridged onto the call. If the receiver hears the correct tones it will involk a transfer to the number provided. Instead of tandeming a call and tying up two trunks, you are giving the call back to the network and having them send the call to the destination. TNT can be envolked by either a warm body pressing the codes and the phone number or you can use an announcement board to play the codes.
