TNS Listener errors on XP Pro...

I am having trouble installing 9i rel 2 on Windows XP professional. As soon as the install gets to the TNSLSNR part, windows comes up with the classic "DON'T SEND" option error (I hate that). Anyway, I have talked with Oracle support, and they can't seem to find a solution. Any takers on this one? Thank you

Ive installed 9i rel 2 on XP Pro a couple of times without any problems. Does everything get installed so that you can go back and manually configure the tnsnames?

Yes, I can manually change the tnsnames.ora file... will that make the report error go away?
