Anybody know the difference between v. 11 and v. 12?

Typically, the vintage code indicates component changes or minor design changes on a circuit pack. With the exception of an Avaya provided minimum vintage report associated with an upgrade most packs are backwards compatible.

Version information is somewhat funny.

Sometimes it changes the operation of the board, sometimes it doesn't.

It could just be a new hardware configuration on the board but still the same functions and limitations.

Sometimes it corrects a problem from a previous release.

Sometimes it adds new features to make it compatible with a new global marketplace.

I'd consult Avaya. Though you're probably going to find that the differences in the versions won't matter to you.
