I'm working on a project to use the TN760D circuit pack in an E & M configuration with our Cisco router VIC (Voice Interface Card) to provide toll bypass in a 'hybrid' VoIP solution.

First question: Has anybody out there done this?
Second question: How do I link the TN760D card's 4 ports to the physical wiring from the switch to my 66 block? All of my wiring appears to be dedicated to my digital and analog circuit packs.

Thanks in advance!

I Know that this is done and I looked at it in the past but don't know the details. Just make sure that the dipswitches on the TN760D board are matching with the specifications of the Cisco router.
There's a lot of information on the I&M CD in document 555-233-118.

By the way, here's the pinout.

On your cross connect:

1 T1
2 R1
3 T1.1
4 R1.1
5 E1
6 M1

The second one starts on pin 7 in the same order.

Brandaris,

Thanks for the information. One more question;

Is the document on the Avaya web site?

Thanks again!
