TN754 Errors? 1

Hey guys,

After doing a reset, I have a couple of stations that won't come back. I swapped TN754 cards and the result is the same:

You may have to busy out and release those ports (sort of kicks them) to get them to come back up. Sometimes you may even have to go out to the device unplug them and plug them back up to get them to come back into service. You can also try "test port 01a0606 l cl" to see if that will make it come back into service for you.

As for the abort codes, they are listed in your maintenance manual and are common for 7400 series sets and the 4 wire 302 consoles.

Update!!

All Stations that are experiencing bad ports in the above test are showing error "513" in "Display Errors".

Under "Display Alarms" it shows the same stations but Service State is ready even though they show disconnected for Station Status.

513 is for unplugged stations, even though it may not be unplugged. Try the test above and see if that clears them up. If not start working your way back out to the device (station or atten).

Is this common with 7400 series phones? This is the only site that still uses them. I haven't experienced anything like this with the newer 2 wire phones.

If none of the above works, shut down you system and then reseat the digital line card. Then bring pbx back up.

Thanks Mikeydidit!!! I had the user unplug those error stations and they came back up.
