TN Identification

Hi Folks: Is there a way to find out the TN a phone is connected to on a display 2008 & 2616? It would save a tremendous amount of time for me when determining which TN is associated with which jack.

Set-Based Administration (553-3001-303). use this manual if you want to check dn to tn correlation from the phone.

Otherwise if you have wireless and can acces the swtich through ip carry your laptop with you.

Not from the set, you should call another set to verify the DN and then from the switch print a DNB, or if there are multiple sets with same DN, ld 80 and trace active call to verify TN

You could start a excell spread sheet to keep track of DN, TN, Jacks, set types, etc.

if you have access to the term on your set add mta to your cls and a trace button to your phone.. key x trc.. then when that set is called you press the trc button and both tn's are printed on your phone... saves me a ton of tn to dn printing and helps with sets with dup key 0's
