When trying to print an email with Word attachment, Outlook would only print the email and show an error when trying to print the attachment. (The attachment will print seperately but not with the "print attached files" option selected. The error message was "Ambiguous Name Detected: tmpdde"

I have replaced the normal.dot with a new one and this fixes the problem temporarily. It seems to occur again after a few weeks. Is there a permanant fix to this problem?

Running Windows XP with Office 2003

Thanks...

I have had this in the past and had to delete the tmpdde macro
Remove the TempDDE macro from Microsoft Word.
To do this-
1. Launch Microsoft Word
2. Hold down the Alt key and press the F8 key
3. Select the TempDDE macro
4. Click the Delete button
or
click Tools–Macro–Macros. When the Macros dialog box appears, select Organizer. The Organizer dialog box will open. In the Organizer dialog box, select the macro project items tab. In the Normal.dot box select the tmpDDE macro and click delete. Click yes to confirm the removal of the macro.
Hope this helps it was the only way round this that I could find

Thanks for the info Clayton... however when I arrived at the macro project items tab... there wasn't any kind of TempDDE macro to delete (I even did a search but to no avail). Not sure why I couldn't find one, but my quest for a permanent fix continues.

Thanks so much for your help.
