I have the DivX and XVid codecs installed and all my AVI files play back perfectly in Windows Media Player, Winamp etc but when I use the TMediaPlayer component in Delphi 5, they all refuse to play correctly.
When you try, there is no sound and the picture is perfect, but it looks like you have the fast forward button held down (as if it's playing back at something like 100 fps).
Has anyone seen this sort of thing happen before or knows how to fix it please?
If it's a problem with TMediaPlayer not supporting DivX and XVid files, can anyone suggest a free component which will (other than DSPack which won't play them either)?
