When i enter the following from user id maestro i get the following error :

o_errs:0014 destination dispatcher unavailable

can any one advise

You didn't post what you're trying to do. Is the "oserv" process running?

Thanks for getting back to me i ran . /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh and this then seet my enviroment up when i did a echo $DBDIR.

Glad you found your problem. Usually, it would either be the oserv is down, or the o_dispatch environment variable wasn't set (which was your case).

I have a similar problem. My oserv is down, however when I go to start it, I get the following:

What I did earlier was change the IP's of the machine. They went from 10.1.0 to 10.101.20. How can I make the change to reflect the new IP?

I don't necessarily think this is a similar problem, but you'll need to follow the instructions under "Changing the IP Address of a TME 10 Server" found in, for example, the Framework 3.6 Planning and Installation guide (pg 13-34).

Basically, you want to start the oserv on the machine in a manner similar to:

oserv -k $DBDIR -N by_name #if on unix
