I have loaded Succession 4.5 and installed the newer TMDI cards. I cannot get the D-channels to come out of yellow alarm. I can loop the local PRI back to the CO and it works fine. When I try to loop the card it acts like nothing is there. I am going to replace the cable and the DB9 to 45 connector, but is there more to this? I seen another post that mentioned they could not see the cards in LD 48, and I do not see mine either. I do not have another system that is running 4.5, so can I reload the software and see if that fixes it? This system does not go live for another week so I have some time. I also have the older DCH cards that I can put in and build the D-channels as DCHI, but I only want to do that if I have to. I also have an older processor that is running 25.4 that I can use if needed. Any suggestions?

DID YOU GO TO LD 96 AND ENL TMDI X FDL

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

if your on a yellow alarm, then layer one is up. the far end does not respond to your handshake.. if you've done the fdl, you may need to get the far end to disl and enll. i would enl msgo x on the d, to see out going msgs.. enl msgi x to see the response. when you bring the loop up to the loopback, your d should auto est, the rls wronge mode. but that may work with out the fdl.. that step downlaods the changes to the card..
