Hi,

Anyone know how to stabilize the web portion of TM3.0?

I have everything up and running with Nortel TM 3.0, and then the web portion fails. I reboot, run a repair, and it doesn't work. I am now trying a backup of the site information (Full Backup) and am uninstalling the software to install it, and restore.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks- Jade

Please tell me that you have switched of the auto updates on the OS, as this murders the TM 3 install

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Interesting... I just installed and configured TM 3.0, and I'm starting to notice the same symptom.

No Automatic Updates either.

Just curious, did you configure SNMP? If I'm right, most of my web client 'hangings' have occurred since I've beefed up the SNMP device list. I'm wondering if my SNMP configuration, or the traffic, is causing the problem...

No need to reboot, just issue a iisreset from a dos prompt. seems to sort it out, though doing this 20 times a day is a little tedious

Thank-you so much for all your help- I found something else that might be helpful. I saw this refrenced, but could not find this until Nortel advertised they re-did their website and the ability to find things- I do have a log-in to the website.

I got a TM 3.0 config tool

I searched under:
Support and Training --> Tehcnical Documentation --> search on TM 3.0.

It just says "CONFIG TOOL" Type: Tools Status: Released Date: 2007-06-29

Cheers-
