Does anyone know if the Telecom Billing portion of TM will work after upgrading to 7.5?

I know that the station management is no longer supported, and is replaced by subscriber manger.

Having just done the 7.5 boot camp course, It looks as if it's not supported. However, this doesn't mean that it wouldn't work!. Subscriber Manager isn't a patch on what OTM / TM was!.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Thanks,

Looks like I'm gonna just have to upgrade my lab switch and test it for myself.

I have seen your thoughts, and generally agree with your sentiments.

We are moving to adopt Aura so that we can take advantage of ACE and custom sequenced applications that we intend to develop for in-house use.

Also, the ability to have system elements concurrently register to multiple instances of Session Manager will help us increase our enterprise-level reliability.

We have tested it, and it works properly. The only reason that it is not supported is the lifecycle of TM. From sources that I have talked to, Avaya did not want to continue testing on a product that was not very profitable is anything.

Thanks rstew3,

I suspected that would be the case.
