I'm not a TM person so bear with me please. I outed a couple of phones remotely for a customer put they still appear in TM. How do I remove them from TM only? They are already outed in the switch.

Thanks

I don't think you can because when you try to it will tell you that they don't exist. You can either rebuilt a phone on the tn and then out it with TM or you should be able run a TM & Switch sync task and it should sync the 2 together.

Did a Reconcile and that fixed it.

Thanks

This is a common problem when external changes are done. On the older OTM versions, I used to close down OTM and then navigate via explorer to where the databases are.

It was usually something like C:\Nortel\Common Data\"Site Name"\Admin or along those lines etc.

There should be a bunch of files that are *.dat and I think one of them was called station.dat. You also have other ones such as name.dat.

All I did was to rename the files to e.g.station.org and then open up OTM again. In station admin I now had a blank screen. It was just a case of doing a full retrieval from the PABX to syncronise the data.

You might be lucky in just doing a full retrieval again in the hope that the removed sets are deleted OK.

OR...you can just change the SYNC status to new (via edit in TM)then delete the set.

Ah yes I totally forogt about Reconcile TN

It was my fault. I don't use TM much if ever. I outed a 3904 and replaced it with an 1140E with KEM's and forgot to do a reconcile or even retrieve the new TN for that matter. I actually forgot the customer had TM.
