I was curious as to if any of you have this issue...
We have a customer who has a TM 3.2 server which is being used to maintain 3 PBXs. Two out of the three PBXs have been upgraded to the CS1000E platform (CPPM CS, CPPM SS and MGCs) which means the TN format was converted from a small system format (Card Unit) to the Large system format (Loop Shelf Card Unit). Now when we log into the web browser interface to the TM server and retrieve the TNs for the upgrade systems, instead of the TM recognizing the new format, it just duplicates the new TNs and keeps the old TN format for the same phones, thus doubling the TN count for the server which in turn has caused the customer's TN liscence to exceed its limit.
Has anyone here seen this before? If so what was the resolution?
Our TAC is telling me that the ONLY way to resolve this is to delete each site and rebuild it then retrieve the TNs.. This would work BUT seeing how two of these sites have very extensive TBS scripts in place and I can't get a back up.. To delete it is my last option as I do not have the time right now to re-enter all the TBS configuration needed. This would be a last effort to correct this problem.
