TM 3.1 with Rls4.5, no SNMP alarms!!

Hi all,

I am tearing my hair out.

I have a 5.5 system sending alarms to TM fine.
Then there are two other 4.5 systems configured correctly but TM doesn't receive their alarms.
I'm just looking for them in the Alarm Notification window.
I have tried Meridian1, CALL_SERVER and even COMMON_MIB_DEVICE in the devices.txt file but none of them work.

The 5.5 is happily churning out SNMP as a COMMON_MIB_DEVICE.

When I use a different MIB browser/trap receiver, I can see the alarms, they just don't appear in TM!

Can somebody please help me!?!

as you said, Nortel changed the format between the old switches and 5.5,
The 5.5 is reporting as a "Call Server" with trap type 6.5, while the older pbx's report as trap type 6.10.

You would need to change your scripts and configuration in addition to device types to accomodate everything. We do have this working correctly with both types of switches on TM 3.1

As it turns out ihad to INI the switches for the SNMP / IP address settings to stick. They now work with no other configuration modifications other than a >reboot

I am using CALL_SERVER as the device types for the 4.5's
