Hi All,

I haven't been around much lately.. but I have a question regarding TM 3.0.

When either creating a new set from scratch, or from a template, or changing an existing set, when I do the "Validate" funciton, I get the following error message:

"duplicate key violates unique constraint"

At one point the customer had rebooted the server and it went away, but then started again about a day later.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Same thing happened to me. I rebooted and its not happening anymore. I'll let you know if it comes back

Turn Validate off.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

And get rid of 3.0 and move to 3.1

I still dislike TM, but having it around can be a help with changing multiple sets...

3.0 has alot of problems, do like MagnaRGP said and upgrade to 3.1.

Hehe - thanks for that tip guys; unfortunately it's not my site, it's actually a customer of ours.

Ace, can you expand on what you meant by turning off validate? I don't work with TM every day, I'm not intimately familiar with it (thank God!)
