Hi!
I need to connect an 30B+D ISDN interface of a CISCO router to public ISDN Network. I'm thinking about connecting it to a TLU76, and do transit through MD110 to public ISDN network. I don't know if TLU76 can do that. Can TLU76 emulate public ISDN?

Could anybody help me?

Thanks a lot. Sorry my bad english.

Should not be a problem..but you need to tell people what version software of the MD110 is.

The PBX is a MD110 BC9 Packet B.
Thanks a lot.

Should not be a problem. MD110 in BC9 is capable of doing ISDN "Network side".

Hi,

Only TLU76/1 is a ISDN Trunk (public or private). In MD110 have a :
TLU76/1--> 30B+D ISDN
TLU76/2--> 30B+D DPNSS
TLU76/3--> 30B+D CAS
TLU76/4--> 30B+D For signalling system no. 7 (ONLY BC11 VERSION)

You define if trunk is a public or private in the MD110 program (ROXXX comands).

Good Work

MD6

Yes, tlu 76/1 can.
You need to use DSS1 protocoll.

Tell me what kind of cisco and IOS version you have, maybe I can give you a configuration for the cisco and the PABX

Hi JimenezT,

We are trying to connect the MD110 BC10 to Cisco 2600. We want to seting up a PRI connection between them. Cisco 2600 is using primary net-5 i think. We couldn't establish a connection. Do you have any parameters for both sides. Or do you have any advice like using the q-sig singnalling. Which one do you prefer qsig or pri.

We have managed to connect 2 md 110 with Cisco and E1 interface with q sig.
Everything works fine.
Has anyopne managed to have q-sig functionality with 2b+d interface?

I have a site connected to Cisco on a BC9 MD110 using a TLU76/1. Here are the route parameters:-

<ROCAP:ROU=45;
ROUTE CATEGORY DATA
ROU SEL TRM SERV NODG DIST DISL TRAF SIG BCAP
45 111000010001 3 3100000000 0 30 128 00151515 111110000031 101100

END

<RODAP:ROU=45;
ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
45 SL60 H'00001310 H'15400000 H'06700000 NO

END

I also manage another BC9 site which connects to a Cisco using a TLU79 (2B+D) and its parameters are:

<RODAP:ROU=70;;
ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
70 SL60 H'00001144 H'14400000 H'50210000 NO

END

<ROCAP:ROU=70;;
ROUTE CATEGORY DATA
ROU SEL TRM SERV NODG DIST DISL TRAF SIG BCAP
70 611000001000 3 2100000002 0 30 128 00151515 111110110030 111110

END

Hope this helps.

I've set up a new route for for TLU76/1 on my MD110 with Cisco router 3600.My MD110 version is LZY2035104/1/CNI85D/R1A.
the parameters that I set up for this route are as follows:

<ROCAP:ROU=81;
ROUTE CATEGORY DATA
ROU SEL TRM SERV NODG DIST DISL TRAF SIG BCAP
81 012000000000 5 2110000010 0 30 128 00151515 111101100031 001100

<RODAP:ROU=81;
ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
81 SL60 H'00000210 H'054A0000 H'06300000 NO

<RODDP:DEST=84;
EXTERNAL DESTINATION ROUTE DATA
DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE
50 81 163610000000025000 0 1 0

hope this parameters would help..

maybe this will sound ridiculous but:

when connecting a cisco router to a TLU 76 board:

is this for connecting the router to an ISDN type dial up ISP ?

or is it to connect the MD 110 to an existing network ? subsequently, can we do VoIP with this configuration?

thanks guys

Vince !
See my reply in this thread
thread806-703685 setup of md110 qsig networking between e.g two
md's can be utilized with this setup.
TLU76/1 cards connected to cisco ip-router witch have
a G.703 interface .
That for carrying the tie line(qsig) voice data
between the md's over ip-network.

You will need appropriate data set both for the md's
and in the routers.

SYAR

To make it complete :

G.703/G.704 = E1 (PRA/PRI) .

ok vince ?

MD110 BC11

I want to connect a TL76/3 CAS Trunks via a Router.

Has anyone had any experience?

Could you provide a quick config overview: any funnies I should be aware

RODAP:
ROCAP:
RODDP:

Thanks

These are the parameters for a route setup with CAS\ TLU76/3. Using it only for outgoing. If somebody need for incoming set VARI.

ROU SEL TRM SERV NODG DIST DISL TRAF SIG BCAP
238 001000000000001 5 2100000010 0 30 128 02080812 311110110150 111111

ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
238 TL30 H'00000000 H'00001216 NO

DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE
9000 238 00050000000002500000000 0 5 0

Cheers

Thanks Sakhan,

Will give it a try when I'm allowed!

As mentioned previously, I've got TL76/1 working Ok... however the returned speech path i.e the called party returning speech back to the Caller appears to degregate...(gets worse)!.....

Does anyone have the Var's, Rodap, Rocap, Rodap for BC9.0 - TLU 76/3 to a Cisco Router?

Thanks
