Hi
I am trying to connect a BRI PC-card to a TLU-79 using a point-to-point connection. Making calls from the card into the MD110 works fine. Unfortunately, when I try to answer a call from the MD110 with the card, it is rejected. The MD110 complains that the card is not providing a compulsory information element. After some research I am fairly certain that the missing IE is a B-channel Identification IE. This IE according to the ETS spec for Euro-ISDN (DSS1) is optional and as such should not be deemed as compulsory.
My question is, what can be done to switch off this behaviour in the MD110? Why is it expecting the B-channel IE and how can we get past this issue.
The ISDN card manufacturers insist that their DSS1 signalling is up to spec. and that Ericsson must fix the problem. Is it something that can be configured or is this a coding issue for Ericsson?
Many thanks
abel
