Does anyone have any feedback on a company called TLI? They have offered us a proposal for maintenance on our Avaya systems. We have an 8700 CM 2.1, a G3R9 and a G3Si V6. Any feedback would be appreciated. Their proposal is roughly half of what Avaya kills us on every month.

we use TLI for our maintenance and have been happy thusfar.
reliable, responsive and accessible. and definitely less costly than avaya.

We've been with TLI for about a year and are looking to go back to Avaya right now. We have multiple call centers, multiple clients and it was a bit much for them. If your system is more straightforward TLI might work well for you.

Good luck

P.S. For the best response to a question, please read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx system & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Be aware that if u don't answer a question, I usually will not continue to help u. Please leave a post on how u fixed the problem too.

we have been with them for a little over 2 years.
we are a single site center.

they have been very on top of monitoring hardware irregularities and their techs have been professional and courteous. maybe we just got lucky ;)

Is that a good or bad thing?
Do they offer 24 hour support to include monitoring and adment support?

Its good until you have a problem that they cant fix. Avaya wont know you are a customer, Time and Material charges will apply because you would be using a non supported Avaya vendor.

I understood that if a vendor sold their own contract to a customer then AVaya quoted charges whether they were a authorized vendor or not. Avaya didn't charge only if the vendor sold a Avaya contract. But maybe I am wrong.
Is TLI not a vendor anymore cuz Avaya cut them off cuz of some problem?

no idea as to why TLI is not a business partner.

we had 1 instance where TLI needed to have avaya fix something (corrupt aria software on intuity audix) and per our contract with TLI, they paid the Avaya t&m.

frankly, even if we had had to pay the t&m, we would still be way ahead of the game in terms of cost/benefit.
